Standing Tall 250 Style: How Viral Optics Went Head-to-Head with the Giants of Supercross—and Held the Line

In a sport where billion-dollar brands throw cash at teams, chase podiums with payroll, and flood the pits with marketing muscle, Viral Optics did something different in 2025: we earned it.

While 100% flexed their financial might, buying seats and stacking rosters across the 250 East and West, and while Alpinestars entered the goggle game guns blazing, Viral didn’t blink. SCOTT and FXR, two long-standing staples in the sport, held their ground. But so did we.

This was our strongest Supercross season yet.
We showed up. We stood shoulder to shoulder with the biggest names in the industry. And when the gate dropped—our riders delivered.

The Numbers Don’t Lie

  • In the 250 West, Viral had 7 riders on the line—more than SCOTT, OALKEY, 100% and FXR.

  • In the 250 East, Viral had 9 riders—beating 100% for the top spot, along with SCOTT, OAKLEY, and FXR.

That makes Viral Optics one of the most represented goggle brands in the entire 250 class. Not bad for a brand without a monster ad budget or massive factory contracts. Riders chose us because our gear works—and they trust it when it counts.

From Rainstorms to Podiums – Viral Delivere

This year brought everything Supercross could throw at us: ruts, rain, chaos, and carnage. And when things got nasty, Viral goggles rose above the mess.

At Foxborough, with brutal conditions on deck, 4 of the top 10 finishers ran Viral. That wasn’t a fluke—that was performance.

Then came the moment we’ve been grinding toward:
Gage Linville put Viral on the podium for the first time.
Not in perfect weather. Not in a clean race. He did it in some of the toughest, muddiest conditions all season. And he did it wearing Viral.

These Are Our 250 Guys – And They Represented

We're proud to have stood behind every one of these warriors:

  • Hunter Yoder West

  • Enzo Lopes West

  • Anthony Bourdon West
  • Billy Laninovich West

  • Brad West West

  • Dillan Schwartz West

  • Preston Boespflug East

  • Jack Chambers East

  • Mark Finies East

  • Preston Taylor East / 450

  • Collin Jurin West
  • Lorenzo Locrucio East
  • Matti Jorgenson East
  • Chase Marquier East
  • Crocket Myers East

They didn’t just ride—they shined. Week in, week out, in the shadows of giant corporations and top-dollar deals, these athletes kept Viral at the front of the fight.

More Riders. More Heart. More Viral.

Let’s call it what it is: 2025 proved that riders choose Viral because it works. Not because we cut the biggest checks, but because we build gear that can take the hits, the roost, the mud, and still keep vision crystal clear.

More riders ran Viral than most legacy brands.
We didn’t just survive this season—we thrived in it.
And we’re just getting started.
